Story
Balu (Manoj) is a good singer and hails from Badhrachalam. He challenges the Village head (Ahuthi Prasad) that he would become a great singer like SP Bali at one time and leaves the village after taking the blessings of his parents and reaches City in order to achieve his goal.
He comes to city and starts staying in Kakatheeya Colony and retired principal Captain Rao (Mohanbabu) lives opposite to the home of Manoj. Captain Rao has a disliking towards younger generation and he gets irritated whenever Balu practices music. Captain Rao shouts at Balu very often.
On the other hand, Shravya ( Taapse) , daughter of Suman ,American born Telugu girl comes to India to research and film a documentary on Indian classical music. Suman is the friend of Mr Rao and she stays at Rao's residence. She asks for a guide with Mr Rao to research in Indian classical music. Balu gets the chance to guide Taapse and events lead to ignite love between Balu and Taapse.
In the mean time, Balu gets a chance to participate in the Music competition organized by Gemini TV but then Rao holds the key to their entry. Mr Rao puts him a condition that he should leave Taapse love, if he wants to participate in the competition. Will Balu accept Captain Rao's condition- what turn the love story of Taapse and Balu takes....
Manchu Manoj : He has done to the fullest of his energy. Good performance of Manoj.
Taapse : She is sexier than beautiful.She has to do a lot of homework- her expressions are not up to the mark in some scenes.
As usual Mohanbabu is impressive with his dialogue delivery and excellent performance.
Positive side of the movie
1. Music by MM keeravani is excellent and all the songs are filmed well, we can say visual treat.
2.Cinemotography is very good.
3.Mohanbabu's dialogue delivery style, Taapse 's glamor show and Manchu Manoj's performance are good
It is another Raghavendar Rao mark film.
