Microsoft issues call for Xbox 360 dashboard testers

If you're keen to stay on the evolutionary every bell curve where Microsoft's Xbox 360 videogames console is concerned, chances are you'll be eager to get involved with the American software giant's latest Xbox Live dashboard preview.

The recently announced Preview Program, provides users with the chance to check out new and upcoming dashboard features such as ESPN on Xbox Live, Zune music, and Netflix search, along with fresh updates to Zune video and Family Settings for the console itself.

According to Xbox Live's Major Nelson (Larry Hryb), those interested in experiencing the dashboard preview will need to visit the Microsoft Connect site and sign in with the Windows Live ID that's connected to their Xbox Live gamertag.

"Once you complete the survey that is presented to you, the Connect site will notify you immediately if you've been accepted," outlined Major Nelson. "We're looking for multiple thousands of participants, so your chances of making it are good."

Although the preview opportunity is open to all Xbox Live members in regions where the service is available, Nelson was keen to point out that users will not be receiving advance access to the upcoming Kinect motion-control platform should they be chosen to participate.
